Summerlyn Ellis, FNP‒C

Summerlyn Ellis is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who is passionate about helping patients feel heard, supported, and involved in their care. Before joining Advanced Pain Solutions, she built her clinical background in surgical medicine and chronic disease management, experiences that shaped her interest in taking a more comprehensive approach to long-term health. Her work as an FNP strengthened her belief that care should go beyond managing symptoms alone. Summerlyn focuses on identifying underlying factors that may be contributing to chronic pain or ongoing health concerns while building strong relationships with patients and supporting the goals that matter most to them. After years of working in hospital settings, she saw firsthand how often patients felt overlooked or misunderstood. That experience continues to guide her approach today. She believes in listening carefully, involving patients in their care, and creating treatment plans that feel both personalized and practical. Summerlyn began her career at Cleveland Clinic, where she first explored functional medicine, nutrition, and a more holistic view of patient care. She is proud to be part of the Advanced Pain Solutions team, where she can help patients pursue better health through a more individualized path that supports quality of life without relying on opioids or surgery as the first answer. Outside of work, Summerlyn enjoys surfing, spending time outdoors, cooking for others, and making memories with family and friends.
